As the sitting Vice Mayor, I have spent the last two years shadowing our outgoing Mayor, gaining firsthand familiarity with the role and duties of the office, and meeting with many people who are integral in the day-to-day operations and future development of our town. I understand the careful considerations we must take to protect Oakland’s interests as part of a growing Fayette County, and I enjoy well-established working relationships with the County Commission and the County Mayor’s office.
